We encourage any and all von Rosenberg cousins to search their closets and attics and cedar chests to look for old photographs, civil war mementos, or other types of items which tell the history of our family.

After lunch, a brief business meeting will be held wherein old business and new business will be discussed, and an interim Vice President will be elected for the remainder of the 2016-2017 term. Anyone who wishes to stand for election may do so, and in fact we encourage additional candidates to ensure all family members and all branches remain engaged.

Prizes will be awarded during the business meeting for the family member who traveled the farthest, for the youngest family member in attendance, for the oldest family member in attendance, the couple married the longest, and for the oldest member of the branch best represented.

Saturday night will feature a Brisket and Sausage Links feast catered by von Rosenberg family members with Camp Lone Star providing sides, condiments and beverages. We are also planning to have musical entertainment for anyone who wishes to kick up their heels.

Sunday morning we will again have a devotional service. In honor of this being the 75th reunion of the von Rosenberg Family of Texas, we will travel to the Old La Grange City Cemetery to worship at the graveside of our patriarch, Peter Carl Johann von Rosenberg.
